#AskTheExpert hello Doctor my son is 11 months old. is it normal for a 11 month old to pass stool 3-4 times a day as a daily routine... sometimes 4-5 times...stool ranges from solid to mucous like. his intake of food and milk is normal drinks lots of water and passes urine atleast 10-15 times a day. pls advice if passing stool 3-4 times a day as routine is normal for 11 month old baby.

ExpertDr Disha PatelAyurvedic Physician4 years agoA. yes, it's normal, no worries. As long as your baby's poos are soft and easy to pass, there's no cause for concern . give natural probiotics and cut down the excess fiber.

Ankita MehtaMom of a 9 yr 3 m old girl4 years agoA. hi mam,it is natural process. if a child looks happy and active, gains enough weight then no need to worry about motions frequency and it's texture. provide natural probiotics like fresh curd buttermilk etc more. give light food like khichdi, rice, fruits for now
