#AskTheExpert Hello Doctor.. My sister is expecting and her EDD id 1st August 2022. so when is the correct time to consult in a maternity hospital? We have not consulted a Gynaec yet. Pleaee advise.

A. yes u can, Consult your doctor who will examine and will advise you with further management and investigations if any required because without examination it is difficult to comment on the current situation

A. one should consult a doctor as soon as they get to know that they are pregnant. presumably your sister is 2 months pregnant now. consult a Doc immediately. she would be given very important folic acid supplements and undergo ultrasound scans to check the growth of the baby. plus other important blood tests would be carried out.

A. hello not consulted yet??it would be better to check with your doctor as you have now completed 4 months already and a scanning as to be done by now to know the baby growth so it is better to check with your doctor and your doctor will be able to guide you better on examination
