if you had previous ceasarean section it is recommended not to go for normal delivery even after a long gap as there are risk factors of uterine rupture, which May cause severe complications to mother as well as baby
Only if in case your doctor is very confident about the scar thickness of your previous C-section and if all the conditions are good enough , ,you can go For a trial for normal delivery
Gulafsha PathanMom of a 2 yr 2 m old girl1 month agoA. yes possible if your reports are normal and scar thickness is more than 3mm you can attempt normal delivery with the help of Dr.
I delivered normally in July2025 after a c-section in June2023.
My experience says patience from both Dr and patient is required for normal. VBAC is achievable with appropriate guidance and support.
