#AskTheExpert Hello Doctor.. My Baby boy Ishaan is 2 years & 8 months old facing lot of pain in his left upper tooth. We have visited two dentist & got suggestion that we will have to take out his tooth or go for root canal which has bad cavity. Kindly give your opinion whether it is advisable to remove his tooth at this age or to go ahead with root canal after putting him on complete anaesthesia for which I'm little worried.

Dr. Vaibhav jainFather of a 6 yr 4 m old girl4 years agoA. it need to be checked for Pediatrician should be consulted for this as for proper treatment and management this required a proper examination of baby by the doctor. And also no any self medication should be given to baby .
