#AskTheExpert Hello Doctor, my 5 year old daughter doesn't gain weight. She eats, loves fruits but weight remains same. why so?

A. Hello, kids are not in a caloric surplus. We know that in order to gain weight, you have to be in a surplus. In other words, you need to be consuming more calories than you are burning.
