#asktheexpert hello doctor, my 23 months son had some white patches on cheeks (light), my pediatrician suggested some iron drops for that, for some hemoglobin now my question is when I stop that drops patches reappear and on continue it disappears so till what age I have to continue those drops, those drops are damaging his teeths color also

ExpertDr. Garima VermaDentist4 years agoA. it is ok you can give water immediately after the iron supplement or mix it in juice and give but give the supplement as advised by your pediatrician do not stop

A. For long term health benefits roast rotis on Iron tawa. Also consult with doc if Dates can be consumed daily.

NikithaMom of a 11 yr old boy4 years agoA. hello the white patches can be due to dryness and you can be using Babyhug face crea! and see if it helps if not then may require further examination and you will have to check with your doctor regarding the same which is better and also safe
