#AskTheExpert Hello doctor, It has been 8 months post delivery now. I am breast feeding my baby. I haven't received my periods. I will appreciate any suggestions or advice for it.

A. As a correct approach, it is advisable to get a consultation done with your nearby doctor once before starting any kind of medicine, for knowing about the proper :rhindication,dosage of the medicine and duration upto which dose needs to given in a proper way. Self medication may be harmful and may not resolve the problem for a long time.

A. Hello dear parent! Irregularities in periods is very normal after delivery due to hormonal changes. Few mommies get their periods even while breastfeeding and few mommies don’t get even after an year post delivery. Consult your doctor for evaluation and advice. Good luck and take care
