#AskTheExpert Hello doctor I start developing covid symptoms yesterday fever around 99 and body pain. I have delivery planned next week..i am fully vaccinated..is it safe to deliver and will it affect baby?

A. you can deliver , no problem Omicron variant is likely to be more infective and spread easily. Its symptoms are cough fatigue runny nose congestion. Children show predominantly upper respiratory tract infection likr fever, runny nose, throat pain, body ache , dry cough. It is recommended to wear a mask regardless of the vaccination status and maintain social distancing. use of sanitizer is recommended .

A. Hi mom Good morning. Yes it is totally safe to deliver the baby and it will not effect ur baby. So no need to worry. Cut down undue stress, stay happy and stress free which is most important at this time.
