#asktheexpert hello doctor, I'm currently 7 months pregnant. And my hb level is 9.2 . Is that level enough or what should I do to increase the level. kindly suggest

A. It is on lower side so try including iron rich foods like carrots beetroot prunes two overnight soaked figs can also be taken green leafy vegetables and also vitamin C rich fruits for better iron absorption

A. Eat iron-rich foods such as meat, chicken, fish, eggs, dried beans and fortified grains. The form of iron in meat products, called heme, is more easily absorbed than the iron in vegetables.
