#asktheexpert hello doctor, I am exclusively breastfeeding my 2 month old baby. I am taking balanced diet and walking extra 5000 steps per day. still I can see my weight increases... I heard breastfeeding helps to cut down your pregnancy weight but now my weight increases... also my appetite has been increased by bit..

A. hi to reduce your weight, start to do exercises or yoga regularly after 6 months of delivery. till that Walk walk and walk. don't use vehicle for short distance. eat couple of bites less than usual. take low fat high fiber diet like green leafy vegetables fruits more. increase your fluid intake. drink warm water with honey and few drops of lemon juice daily in morning. maintain good hygiene.
