#asktheexpert hello doctor good morning π if baby weight increases 300 g per month then it's worried situation or not , baby birth weight was 2.5 kg , now he is going to complete 4 month on 21sr August n his weight is 3.340 kg kindly answer

AbhayaMom of a 15 yr 9 m old boy1 Year agoA. Hello there maam please do not worry about it too much. Baby weight depends on birth weight and normally doubles by the age of six months and triples by the age of one year. If baby is active and taking feed properly then no need to panic. Mother should take healthy food items including fresh fruits and dry fruits.
