#AskTheExpert Hello Doc, My daughter is 3yrs old and is suffering from cough and cold since 1 week. She is under medication. but since yesterday evening ahe has been coughing alot uncontrollably. What might be the reason?

Cough and cold can we because of some allerghjic reaction in the body most of the time it is viral in the origin need to give symptomatic treatment first like steam inhalation and some home remedies cough expectorant may be required along with anti allergic medications

Turmeric or haldi has been lauded for its healing properties for centuries now, so it isn’t surprising that it’s a part of lots of home remedies in India. Mix a little turmeric with warm water to make a smooth paste, and apply this mixture on your baby’s chest, forehead, and the soles of his feet. Wash it away after some time. The heat from the turmeric will help in diluting the mucus and allow it to ooze out easier.
