#AskTheExpert Hello doc. My daughter is 3 months old. she is coughing very little and has little cold as she now sneezes quite much. she has little fever also. I am currently having viral fever. kindly please suggest for her.

A. Cough along with Cold most of the time is a viral illness and it needs supportive care along with proper hydration. you can give steam inhalation which is very useful . cough needs to be treated with anti allergic and expectorant bronchodilators or antitussives medicine which should be given only after a proper evaluation by the dohctor according to the xtype of cough. if fever is there paracetamol can be given to reduce the fever and the dose can be repeated after 6 hours again if required .

See the baby is too small I would not recommend you to just go ahead with any medicine randomly if you want to go ahead with anything then in the first place you will have to get it checked with your doctor because your doctors only going to advise you with the right medicine for theWrite Your Answer Here
