#AskTheExpert hello doc,my baby is 2 year old is having fever since morning , temperature is 103f i have been giving him 4 ml p250 suspension every four hour...for 2 hours the fever is subsiding and then again temperature is 103f..his hands and feet are cool..what should i do mam?

A. Fever is a response of the body to anvfy kind of infection or any inflammatory process in body so you can give paracetamol in a dose of 15 mg/kg/dose as the first line treatment also this dose can be again repeated after every 5 to 6 hours if again required and you can also do cold sponging of the body to reduce fever
