#asktheexpert Hello doc, I have 6months old baby and I got my first periods now. Whether it affects my breastfeeding? If so, how can I manage?

A. No menstruation is a completely natural cycle it has got no connection with your breastfeeding so even if you resume with your period it is never going to affect your regular breastfeeding that you’re having for your child
