Hi doctor Mine is a normal delivery and Am exclusively breastfeeding my son till now I didn’t had my periods but since 2 days am having period cramps very badly and if I get periods will it affects my milk production???

A. No It is not going to affect your breast feed because menstruation cycle has got no connection with you breastfeeding yes but it is true that when you are breastfeeding your child you can skip your periods for a longer time but that has got nothing to do with the quantity and quality of breastfeeding
