#AskTheExpert h doc, this is my question regarding my newborn, actually he poops 6-7 tyms in a day, is this normal. and I feel he is troubling with gas trouble

ExpertDr Disha PatelAyurvedic Physician3 years agoA. Newborn babies do pass 8- 10 times stool are normal variation at this age .So don't worry if she is passing urine frequently, taking feed properly and active.continue with ebf, burp properly post each feeding

POOJA KOTHARIMom of a 8 yr 5 m old boy3 years agoA. Many newborns have at least 1 or 2 bowel movements a day. By the end of the first week, your baby may have as many as 5 to 10 a day. Your baby may pass a stool after each feeding. The number of bowel movements may go down as your baby eats more and matures during that first month.
