Q.

#asktheexpert Good morning my Child is 7 years and he keeps breaking his nails with his other fingers.. his nails have never grown. is it due to any defeciency?

A. In this here it is very difficult to comment properly until a proper exhhamination or assessment is done to find out the exact cause so it is advisable to consult your doctor so that he could examine and evaluate properly and will guide you accordingly for this .v

A. It’s an awful habit where kids get into them so you have to tell your child if you keep baking these nails are going to be more brittle it is not any kind of deficiency it’s just the habit that kids have when they get bored or they don’t like to do anything they bite their nails cut their nails they eat their skin but that’s totally normal
