#AskTheExpert Good morning ma'am .. Does a 2 years old child need tetanus injection for any kind of cuts and wounds?

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 6 m old boy1 Year agoA. not needed if your child has completed the regular vaccination there is no need to go for tetanus vaccination at this age because it is already covered in the national immunisation schedule. if the injury or cut is very dirty enough then the final decision of tetanus vaccine will be taken by the doctor.

NikithaMom of 2 children1 Year agoA. hello it would depend on what kind of wound it is and it would be better to check with your doctor and your doctor will be able to guide you better on examination of the same and advise you accordingly which would be better and also safe
