#AskTheExpert Good morning Doc...... mera baby boy one year one month old hai use cough and cold hua tha abhi bhi thoda hai lekin is se phle vo ache se feed krta tha fruits bhi leta tha or susu itni krta tha ki din mei 4,5 dipper use hote the lekin abhi vo na toh thik se feed krta hai na kuch or khana pasand krta hai sirf water usko Acha lg rha hai toilet bhi bahut hi kam kr rha hai ab sirf 1,2 dipper hi use ho rhe hai vo bhi jyada baggy nhi ho rhe mujhe kya krna chye 🙏🙏🙏

ExpertDr Disha PatelAyurvedic Physician4 years agoA. Give sufficient fluids to your baby. Use steam inhalation. Steam will not shorten the length of the cold, but it will reduce the inflammation in the nasal passages and help to breathe better. Nasal congestion can be relieved with a few drops (1 or 2) of eucalyptus oil + coconut oil application on the chest. Warm honey with a few drops of fresh holy basil (tulsi) juice and fresh ginger juice to relieve the throat discomfort and improve immunity. You many also add some turmeric in food. offer his favorite food in small quantity multiple times.

Include seasonal fruits and vegetables, green leafy vegetables, nuts, dry fruits and dairy in the diet. Keep your baby hydrated and physically active. Loss of appetite indicates vitamin deficiency in the child. Consult your child’s doctor for evaluation and advice. Good luck and take care.
