#AskTheExpert good afternoon sir,my daughter is 10 months now but her body weight is in between 6kg-6.5kg.one doctor told me that her weight is low as per the average weight criteria for the childrens.what diet plan should we follow so that her weight increases?

A. Hi mom At six months weight should be double to birth weight Give two liquid diet followed by BM or formula milk give adequate water Maintain hygiene Maintain hydration Do tummy time and cycling movement of legs to relieve gas and constipation Burp well after every feeding Try to keep head up position while feeding Take healthy protein rich nutritious food fruits vegetables to increase your milk More sucking leads to more milk Stay hydrated

A. hello there ma'am please do not worry about it too much and yes as per the baby age weight is very less and first you have to find out the exact reason for not gaining weight and lso ask your doctor for food supplement and vitamins. take care
