#AskTheExpert for constipation baby what should I give her ?? & her stools are hard n painful for her that she cries every time she do her potty. She do her potty Once in a week or once in a 4-5dys . Suggest me some tonic for easy passing out stool/constipation for my baby who is just 22months old.. orelse sone remedies to ease her pain too

Dr. Vaibhav jainFather of a 6 yr old girl4 years agoA. it sk very com in kid. Hard stool is very common in babies ; due to low fiber and water intake . So increase the quantity for water and fiber . Also lactulose can be used if severe constipation is there and it is trouble some .
