Q.

#AskTheExpert first 45th day painless vaccine we injected to my son.. it's been 5 days since we injected but swelling is not settled. it is spreading upto knee.. is this common or we need to consult doc?

A. after painful vaccines administration they can cause swelling in the limbs which can continue for more than two months also. it does not require any treatment and should go away on its own. x after vaccination immediately you should start applying ice as well as thrombophob gel to prevent such swellings from persisting
