Q.

#AskTheExpert Doctor all the doctors are advising not to add salt to baby's food. Making him eat bland food is becoming a challenge day by day as he is looking for some taste. Why is it that we should not add salt and what are the consequences of giving baby food with salt.

A. better to avoid adding salt and sugar till one year..as it will affect your baby's developing kidney.. You can give different taste by adding Cummin powder, Curry leaves, coriender leaves, ajawain (carrom seeds), cinnamon,cardamom,ginger, garlic, nutmeg, date puree, or boiled and pureed risings! :
