#AskTheExpert do you recommend single dose of meningococcal after 2 years or two doses to a 9 month old?

A. yes single after 2 years meningococcal vaccine is an optional vaccine. it is usually given either at 9 months of age and one year of age as a a 2 dosage regimen or you can go for a single dosage after two years of age. your doctor is the best person to tell you whether it is required by your child or not. my personal advice would be that if you can afford the vaccine you should get the child vaccinated for any disease for which vaccine is available

A. In this case only your paediatrician can give you a correct Iron so what ever you doubt is associated with the vaccination please clear it up with a P paediatrician only they are going to clear all your doubts associated with vaccination that you are concerned about
