ExpertDr. Minal AcharyaNutritionist4 years agoA. dear parent according to the guidelines a mother can continue to breastfeed if having Covid but should maintain proper masking and hand wash with soap what is age of child if it is beyond 2 years your wife may not breastfeed

Hi If the baby is under the age of six months and it is a compulsion for her to feed the child and she should feed the child but taking all the precautions putting on a mask and everything maintaining sanitisation and cleanliness everything but if child is older than that and is able to eat anything apart from breastfeeding then she should avoid it and there is a very limited chance of your child getting affected
