#AskTheExpert dear Madam Cervical incompetence with open internal os and u shaped funneling, cervical canal length is shortened (11mm) . Is this condition will cause miscarriage at 14 weeks of pregnancy

A. Hello dear Yes there is a chance of abortion as the cervical length has reduced considerably. A cerclage can be attempted but there is no guarantee that it will prevent it.
