A. A 1 year old baby should eat 3 main meals and 2 to 3 times healthy, home cooked snacks. Include all types of fluids to keep him well hydrated. Foods like rice with dal, chapati with paneer gravy or mixed vegetables, chicken or fish curry with rice, eggs in different forms, chicken soup, dalia, khichdi, besan and beetroot Cheela, stuffed parantha, veg cutlet, veg sandwich, milkshakes with dry fruits, oats with nuts, mixed vegetable soup, legumes cereals and milk are very nutritious for healthy growth and development.
