#asktheexpert can we give banana while baby is having cold ? he is 17 months old

ExpertDr Bandana JoshiAyurvedic Physician9 months agoA. Better to avoid instead you can give apple or pear or Vitamin C rich fruits to the baby as it will relieve cold and give one teaspoon honey mixed with few drops of tulsi drops ginger drops and a pinch of black pepper

yes , it can be given
but avoid giving whole or more banana
few pieces of it are ok to give
give other fruits like dates ,papaya etc as they are more beneficial during cold and cough episodes
