#AskTheExpert Can we add salt in baby’s diet? Is it good or bad for them?

A. do not add salt till 1 year.. Salt will be a burden on the tiny kidneys and the kidney’s will not be able to function properly due to the excessive load. And babies get required amount of salt from regular diet and bm. You can make your baby food more interesting and tasty by adding spices appropriate to the age of the baby.

A. Hello dear parent! Sugar and salt is not advisable before one year completion as it reduces nutrition assimilation. Give your baby easily digestible homemade healthy foods in natural flavours and tastes. Keep your baby hydrated and healthy all day. Good luck and take care.
