#AskTheExpert can lactating mothers take covid vaccine?? if so which one is preferred covaxin or covisheild?

A. recently government guidelines say that nursing mothers can get vaccinated for covid and it is safe to feed thereafterr but pregnant women and children need to wait for vaccination till recent update .

A. Both are good take any one available, If you are breastfeeding, or planning to breastfeed, you can continue breastfeeding after vaccination. Clinical trials on the use of coronavirus vaccines while breastfeeding are not advanced. However, the available data do not indicate any harm to the breastfed infant
