#asktheexpert Can I wake up my deeply sleeping baby of 1week for feeding. its been more than 2hrs

ExpertDr Laxmi Chavan-SawantAyurvedic Gynaecologist 1 Year agoA. yes you should wake up your baby every 2 hours for feeding even if they are in deep sleep
You can pinch on the toes of the baby or tickle on the cheeks. So that the baby wakes up and takes the feeding.
Also if there is gases in the stomach baby try to stop feeding and then feel sleepy
so give proper burping after each feed
