Q.

#asktheexpert can I take Isabgol (Psyllium husk) with warm water for constipation? My baby is 2 month old and I'm exclusively breastfeeding. I have worst constipation since my baby is born. Please suggest any other home remedies.

A. yes you can take it... isabgol is safe for kids....

A. Drink warm water daily, have milk with ghee at night time. Increase your water and fibrous food intake. Have sits bath in warm water if required after passing stools, so as to ease your pain

A. Hello dear parent! Avoid self medication. Please consult your doctor for a personal evaluation and seek further advice. Include seasonal fruits and vegetables, green leafy vegetables, nuts, dry fruits and dairy in the diet. Increase the liquid intake and fibre intake. Good luck and take care.
