#AskTheExpert can I take covid vaccine as my baby is breastfeeding and after how much time can I feed my baby and is there any other precautions to take before or after taking vaccine..thanks

Yes you can take the vaccine. I am mother of 6 months old breastfed baby and took the covishield vaccine last week as suggested by my pediatrician and even gynaecologist. And no need to skip feeding your baby also. I didn't find any problem with my baby and also none of the doctors adviced not to feed. But you must have someone to take care of you and the baby since you may get the Fever, etc symptoms of the vaccine.

Nihita mittalMom of 4 children4 years agoA. good evening yes definitely you can take covid vaccine even if you are feeding the baby I would recommend that you should try to avoid feeding for one or two days after the vaccination if possible
