#asktheexpert can I get BCG vaccine done at anytime before baby is 5yrs old?

A. If your baby needs the vaccine, they will usually be given it at around 28 days old. The BCG vaccine is recommended for children aged 1 to 16 if any of the following apply: they have a parent or grandparent born in a country where there is a higher risk of getting TB.
