Yes, you can give Cerelac to your baby, but it's best to use it as an occasional meal rather than a regular one. 🔹 Is Cerelac Good for Babies? ✅ Easy to digest – Good for babies who struggle with solids. ✅ Nutrient-rich – Contains vitamins, minerals, and iron. ✅ Quick to prepare – Helpful for busy days or travel. 🔸 When to Give Cerelac? 🔹 If your baby is 6+ months old and has started solids. 🔹 Occasionally as a meal, but not as a daily replacement for fresh food. 🔸 Better Alternatives for Weight Gain & Nutrition Homemade Cerelac: Mix powdered ragi, oats, or rice with breastmilk/formula. Khichdi/Porridge: Moong dal + rice + ghee. Mashed Fruits: Banana, chikoo, apple. Dalia with Milk: Broken wheat with ghee and jaggery.
