Dr. Vaibhav jainFather of a 5 yr 11 m old girl3 years agoA. taken for now. Breastfeeding is considered the best source of natural immunity and also all the antibodies to a newborn baby . Doctor s don't recommend formula milk as it is not required at all . exclusive breastfeeding is the best for good immunity and baby health , reduces colic and gas issues and helps in the overall brain development of the baby. No water , ghutti or honey or any other syp is given till 6 months of age .

RashmiMom of a 11 yr 2 m old girl3 years agoA. U Should consult your doctor for that because you haven’t mentioned how old your child as I’m not very sure whether you exclusively breastfeeding the child or not so kindly take a consultation from your doctor and go ahead with their suggestion
