ReshmaMom of a 5 yr old girl3 years agoA. Yes. Ragi is very good and healthy food for babies. My grandma starts introducing ragi to kids in the early months itself. Around the age of 7 months, we start to feed ragi in the form of java (without salt till the the is a year old). Start with a spoon a day for a week. Then increase quantity of ragi. Just make sure that your baby drinks enough water to avoid constipation.
