Q.

#AskTheExpert baby is 13month has fever 102.5 sincecyesterday. doc suggested flexon ..fever goes down by 100 but again rising...giving flexon evry 4hrs

A. Fever is a response of the body to any kind of infection or any inflammatory process in body so you can give paracetamol in a dose of 15 mg/kg/dose as the first line treatment also this dose can be agavin repeated after every 5 to 6 hours if fever is repeativng. and ywou can also do cold sponging of the body if required
