#AskTheExpert Baby have white patches beside nose on both side, he is five month old. kindly help me for this

White spgyots on the body and face could be some fungal infection or some conditions like pityriasis Alba which is aggravated by dryness of the skin it needs proper clinical revaluation by the doctor. Proper mousturisation of skin is very important and maintain a good hygiene .

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 6 m old boy2 years agoA. many times white spots can occur in children but does not require any treatment except moisturizing lotion application or simple coconut oil application. they will persist for few weeks and then will go away if the problem continues beyond two weeks and is increasing in size and intensity then you have to meet the doctor for evaluation.d some times it can be due to nutritional deficiency, skin sensitivity, alldergy, fungal infection (sometimes self limiting) also for which your doctor will prescribe specific cream.
