#AskTheExpert baby gets scared very often and does not allow herslef to be wrapped..is wrapping important ? also when breast milk is pumped can it be kept outside for 6 hours or should be kept in fridge ?

SandhyaMom of a 8 yr 8 m old girl4 years agoA. Hi, it is not mandatory to wrap. Let the baby sleep comfortably. Use sleep suit which keeps the baby warm and use a cotton cap To add always so that the baby head will be warm. Always try to latch the baby directly pumping out the milk is not a good idea and it might cause infection if it is not sterilised properly or not maintained hygiene. Always it should be pumped and fed within one or two hoursWrite Your Answer Here
