A. Irritation in gums happen when teething begins in babies. You can massage the gums with clean finger or cotton cloth and give a chilled teether to chew on to soothe them. Do not give any medication as it is a process which every baby has to go through. Consult a doctor, if there is any need to start calcium supplements.
