#asktheexpert after pregnancy my periods are ireggular so what can i do plz tell me the solution

ExpertDr.Sabiha AnjumObstetrician and Gynaecologist4 years agoA. Period irregularities are common after giving birth and that may continue even upto one year starting from the day the periods start after delivery.
That’s why you have to keep using contraception to avoid accidental pregnancy

There is irregularity of periods after delivery due to the hormonal changes.
Breastfeeding mothers periods are Irregular.
Once u stop breastfeeding the periods will become normal and regular. So no need to worry. Take care
