#AskTheExpert after C section delivery i was bleeding for almost 2 to 3 weeks,after a gap of 10 days i started bleeding for 4 days with very little flow. the same repeated twice, but now its been more than 3 months i have not had periods. is this normal? have not consumated with my husband yet after delivery.

Dr GhouseGuardian of 3 children4 years agoA. there can be lactational amenorrhea which may continue up to 6 months sometimes 1 year also but it is always advisable to have some method of contraception .. . . .

Sarika guptaMom of 2 children4 years agoA. hello there ma'am please do not worry about it too much and yes ot is very normal and irregularities in periods after delivery is very common. and please use any contraceptive to avoid any accidental pregnancy. also. hve more green leaves vegetables and dairy products in your daily diet.
