Q.

#AskTheExpert after 4 months of delivery I am feeling pain on right side of my lower abdomen near stiches. I am not able to sit and hold baby. it cause more pain. is that ok to have pain? please suggest some tips or medicine for the same.

A. well it needs a check up. try to not lift weights. Cut on salt in diet. take lots of fluids and a high protein diet. avoid standing or sitting with legs hanging down.

A. Again, it's normal to experience cramping in your lower abdomen after you give birth. After all, your uterus grows to many times its original size throughout pregnancy — all while its lining thickens and its blood vessels enlarge to support the placenta and your baby.
