#AskTheExpert 8 hello sir,my baby is 6 month old,he used to suck his thumb till now,what should i do sir?please suggest.

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy4 years agoA. can you do not worry because it is a self limiting habit and you have to just maintain hygiene of the finger which is going inside the oral cavity and gradually it will decrease over time

It’s Okay don’t worry about it keep taking your child’s hand out of the mouth every now and then so that we slowly your child will leave this awful habit because in the beginning years for the age of one year or so it is very common with kids to behave like this but it is not a matter of concern as such
