#asktheexpert 11 years old baby she suffers from cough and cold I consult a doctor but still she is not fine what can I do??

A. recurring and non resolving cough and cold is commonly due to allergy and less likely due to infection. can be due to either allergy or infectiond or both. along with cough and cold medicine nebulization will be required and your doctor will guide you regarding this. take a follow up with your doctor if the cough and cold is not improving with 3 days of medication . it is very important to give proper inhaler as well as proper method of nebulization for better recovery

A. Hello there ma’am please do not worry about it too much. Please give indirect steam to the baby. Also massage baby chest with lukewarm BabyHug mustard oil. You can alao rub kids Vaporub on kids clothes near chest area. Keep the baby warm at all times. You can also put saline drops in the nose of the baby. Pleae give honey in lukewarm water to the baby. Also give Patanjali Shavasari syrup in lukewarm water to the baby. you can also give turmeric milk to the baby. Thanks
