Q.

#AskTheExper I have 1 month old baby, i'm breastfeeding mom. Due to constipation my intestine developed stomach worms. My Dr. prescribed mebex 100 mg. Is it safe to consume while breastfeeding. Does not harm baby?does my stomach infection turn baby potty to green?

A. yes it's ok During any ordinary illness such as a cold, sore throat, flu, worms infestation, fever, mastitis, etc. you should continue to breastfeed. breastfeeding should continue without interruption as there is no risk to the baby. If you need to take antibiotics or other medicine, just check with your doctor first. it’s still important to make sure you wash your hands often, avoid coughing or sneezing near your baby
