#AskTheExper hello sir/madam my baby is now 14 months 12 days old she has taken mmr1 in March and MMR2 vaccine today(14months 12days) is this right time what is the maximum gap between mmr1 and mmr2

A. All the vaccination should be given according to the vaccination schedule whether the government or IAP schedule and you can discuss with your pediatrician regarding the details of the vaccination. Pulse polio immunization programme is provided by the government to all children below 5 years of age. if your child has received polio vaccine before as per the schedgule then also you should give this vaccine on the the pulse polio day as this is an additional vaccine. For polio vacctine dates and related query you need to contact your local authorities .

A. hi ideally ,there is should be gap of atleast 28 days between first and second dosage of mmr Vaccination but as it has been long period ,it is advisable to visit your pediatrician and do as per his Suggestions for this.
