#askthedoctor Hi, My baby is 2.7 yr old and she puts thumb in mouth, not sucks every time only in night but always put in mouth. We tried lots of things applied tapes, neem oil etc but nothing works for me. Please suggest something to get rid off. Thanks in advance

NikithaMom of a 10 yr 9 m old boy3 years agoA. hello thumb sucking in small kids is normal and you should distract your child and slowly the child will be able to get rid of the habit and you can talk your child and if the child is still having the hait ater 5 to 6 years then you can check with your doctor
